CROWNED TO PROSPER And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand, and they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" Then they spat on Him and took the reed and struck Him on the head. Matthew 27:28-30
What was redeemed: Our peace of mind and healing from all mental torment. Poverty mindset broken
You know when we see pics of the Jesus with the crown of thorns, it’s kinda perched on His head like a King’s crown, but I bet they were much crueler than that, digging thorns much like these into His head, causing the blood, the life to flowout. He shed His blood This was to liberate our minds. The word of God says ‘the chastisement of our peace was UPON Him’. The peace which the enemy took from us, God restored it again in Jesus. Now the enemy has no rights to afflict our minds and keep them in bondage anymore. All mental bondage and strongholds were removed from us when they pressed the thorns into Jesus’ head. He suffered and shed blood from His head so that our minds can be free! For me personally this means a lot, my mother suffered from mental illness, she was diagnosed as manic – depressive. Because of the illness, she was sometimes very dark, depressed and unpredictable. the world says the tendency to suffer from that, or bipolar disorder is inherited, passed down from generation to generation. I am so grateful for the blood of Christ, because of His Blood shed at the Cross, I am free of depression and bipolar, , my children are free, my children’s children are free!
I have seen a band tied around the minds of men in the realm of the spirit meant to keep them from making the right decision for their destinies, but as I commanded them to break, they all fell off in Jesus name! Hallelujah!!! Our minds can now be free! Remember, if the enemy can oppress our minds, then he can also control our destinies. By freeing us from all bondage and diseases of the mind, Jesus has also freed our destinies. No sickness, disease, stress or condition of the mind can hold us back to the glory of God.
CROWN OF THORNS – He shed His blood on His brow. JESUS paid the price for the “curse of poverty”.
* Genesis 3:19 NIV – By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life
2 Corinthians 8:9New King James Version 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
Jesus shed His blood that we may prosper, that we may have abundance and success, much like a king! The Savior of all mankind was humiliated and mocked, beaten and bruised, all for us!. Crowned with great suffering with twisted thorns piercing His brow, Jesus broke the curse on our livelihood of poverty, debt and lack.
God cursed the ground that provided Adam his living and Jesus reversed the curse by the blood that was shed from the crown of thorns. By breaking this curse the body of Christ can truly experience the promise of a land flowing with milk and honey, God's divine provision for His people. The Lord is our Shepherd we shall not want!
Lord, we thank You for the blood shed for our Freedom! In Your name and by Your Blood we break off all oppression of the mind! That we may walk in the Peace of God! Thank You that You teach us to think, act and live in the prosperous inheritance of Christ! Thank you that we walk in victory and in the destiny of God! In Jesus name, amen
